Movie review: "Dracula Untold"

Hey everybody (I'm starting to think that I need a catchphrase or something for the beginning of my posts because I always start with something like "helooo" or "hey guys" and it's getting boring...)
Anyways I started my summer break, and I decided to catch up on some of the movies that I wanted to watch for sooo long. First on the list was "Dracula Untold".

The movie was released in 2014 and (according to wikipedia) it's a dark fantasy action horror movie (yes, that is exactly what it says). I'ts directed by Gary Shore, Luke Evans plays Count Dracula.

The main reason why I liked it is because it's about Vlad Tepes becoming Dracula (everyone loves a good backstory, am I right?) . I think the movie is very original, it portrays Vlad not just like a blood sucking moster but the leader who is villing to sacrifice his life for the sake of his people and their families. The movie also has a love story but it's not in the main focus which makes it that much better. I personally loved the end but I'm not going to spoil everything - you will just have to watch it ;)

Also look how awersome the poster looks :O

The 30 days study challenge

heloooo guys :D
I'm back and I'm ready to study more than ever (wow that sounds nerdy).
If you have been reading my excuses for not blogging regularly you have noticed that there is always a same reason for my blogging absence- school.
I'n a past few months I started taking school seriously. I took three extra exams and I'm trying to be ahead of my school work. But, of course, there are times when I just want to lay in bed whole day, read, watch Sherlock and be on Tumblr. It used to happen a lot, but then I discovered the studyblr tag. Studyblr is a type of blog that is posting about studying tips pens, notebooks and all the other things that make learning enjoyable. I followed around 100 different studyblr blogs and my dashboard was filled with pictures of other people studying, motivational quotes and links to websites that can help you study.
There is this one post that I've been stumbling across since forever and I kinda always wanted to do it, but  never did... That post, ladies and gentleman, is the 30 days study challenge. Few weeks ago I decided to finally do it and here I am blogging about it. The thing is, I need something to motivate me to actually keep on track with doing it so I made a tumblr side blog. You can find that blog here :D.
And these are the tasks:
Day 01: find something that inspires you to hit the books
Day 02: clean up an organize your study area
Day 03: add an extra half hour to your study time today
Day 04: Make 10 flashcards for a subject of your choice.
Day 05: Write a page of notes that has at least one diagram or flowchart.
Day 06: Make yourself a nice cuppa of whatever.
Day 07: Prove the Pythagorean Theorem (a^2+b^2=c^2) in three minutes.
Day 08: Think of favorite celeb/OTP while studying and see how it goes.
Day 09: How long can you concentrate in one studying session?
Day 10: Eat with your non-dominant hand while writing/studying. No spills!
Day 11: Spend one full hour on your most-hated subject.
Day 12: Ask a question that you’ve previously thought was too stupid.
Day 13: Teach someone a concept you are learning right now.
Day 14: Preview tomorrow’s lessons or things you plan to learn.
Day 15: Compare the effects of rap and classical music while studying.
Day 16: What is your best subject and why are you good at it?
Day 17: Share your favorite inspirational quote.
Day 18: Try out the Cornell note-taking system if you haven’t already.
Day 19: Carefully record how you use your time and make a time log.
Day 20: Open up Tumblr or something else. Study in front of the screen. Do not touch or do anything. See if you can focus on your work.
Day 21: Watch an OCW video and take notes.
Day 22: Show us your favorite stationery for studying.
Day 23: Try speed-reading a news article and summarize it.
Day 24: Organize your notes.
Day 25: Plan your work beforehand and finish it before the day ends.
Day 26: Don’t bring questions home… solve all questions before leaving school.
Day 27: Put on a queue and stay off all social networking sites for 12 waking hours.
Day 28: Healthy eating: no junk food today.
Day 29: Set a large goal and reward yourself if you finish it.

Day 30: Celebrate and see how far you’ve gone ;)
I will start tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed that I can make it :D

Books reserved for 2015

New Year is on it's way!!! Two more days and we will officially be in 2015 :) As I said previously every year I make a list of my decisions, I usually write them on New Year's eve, but I thought this year I could share them whit you.  Which means, I had to write them earlier.
I will post the entire list on New Year's or day after. But, there is one decision I would like to write about today, and that is to read all the books I didn't have time for in 2014. Long story short - here's a list!
♥ Lord of the rings
I've read Hobbit about two years ago and since then I keep telling myself I have to read LotR but I just never actually do it :/

♥ The maze runner
My friend won't shut up about this for weeks... I guess is time I read it too.

♥ Finish the Divergent trilogy
I've read Divergent but I just can't force myself to read the rest of the trilogy (mostly because my friend told me what happens at the end  and that kinda killed my wish to read it but I have to force myself because I hate leaving a book unfinished )

 The chronicles of Narnia
Honestly I have no idea why I still haven't read that....

Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I've read the first two parts few days ago and now I will read the rest :D

So, that would be it, I hope I will read more books during the year but these I just really, really, really want to read.  If you know any other good books that you think I should include on the list, feel free to leave it in the comments :)
See ya soon and I love you all ♥♥♥

Winter is coming....

Hello December! It feels like it has been just a few days since I was writing the "Finally autumn" post and now I'm writing the winter one..... The thing is, I don't really like winter as much as all the other seasons so I decided to collect all the little things I love about cold weather and short days and maybe after I won't think winter is so bad :)
so, here we go....
♥ Ice skating.
♥  Candles
♥ Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
♥ Christmas songs, lights and well, everything Christmas related
♥ Hot tea
♥ Fireworks
♥ New year's eve

Well It took me long enough just to came up with these and also, there is another thing I would like to talk to you about. We all made some decisions last New year (don't even try to deny it...) Some of these decisions we completed but some are still waiting for us to try to do them, even if we failed the first time now is the perfect time to try again. So, who's with me? Let's make the last chapter of 2014 book perfect!

Online reading

hello everybody, today I'm back with some more book stuff ;)
If you live in a small country and love reading then you will understand my problem here... I live in Croatia, where English is not the main language.... When a book comes out I have to wait for at least two years just for book to be translated. I know English enough to understand the books that are not in Croatian, but then I would have to buy every book I want to read ( I usually just borrow them at the library and like this I would have to buy them from Amazon or Ebay because you can't find English books here ). Let's take Percy Jackson for example, In America and England seven parts came out. In Croatia? Three. And the thing is, if the book is not selling the way that publishers wan,t they will not translate the whole series. At this point we come to online reading. I personally don't like it as much as the feel of holding a real book in your hands and I find it a bit harder to read, but that really just depends on you. Of course, for most online books you have to pay, and then we are back at the beginning, but since I really wanted to read the Percy Jackson series till the end and some other books I spent some time looking for a free version of online books and I found this. It might not be the best website, but is the first I found that has a nice amount of not just most popular, but also the less known books and you can easily read them. I don't really like the font (is very thin so it makes it harder to read) but apart from that I would say is quite good. If anyone knows a better one you can leave it in the comment :)) And if this helped someone and you want me to write about more stuff like this feel free to say it ♥

Work hard // Favorite Quote Thursday

So, I'm beginning to think I should stop calling this Favorite Quote _______, and rename it to something more accurate since I'm not really talking about quotes... Anyways is you have any ideas feel free to leave them in comments :) Off to today's favorite "quote" we have......

First of all, let's just appreciate how cute is this bunny right here... doesn't he just make you want to go study? But that is not the important thing here so let's get to the point ...
The reason I picked this is because this kinda adds up on the last "favorite quote". The thing I changed the most last week (little more than a week, but that is not the point here) is my studying... Now, I was always the smart but lazy kid...I could learn a lot in a short amount of time so I would regularly leave my studying to last moment.... The thing is, I might have gotten a good grade, but I would forget what I "learned" after a month of two. Of course I couldn't do that forever, my grades started to get lower and I had to stop that. This week I will continue studying on time, and hopefully some of you will decide to do the same thing.
I love you all ♥♥
